 Our trip to go snorkelling at Cabo Pulmo had a little wrinkle in it. I had to look after the dog, and these women couldn’t find the jack, couldn’t get the jack out when they DID find it, etc. etc. This fine fellow helped us out.

This was way better snorkelling that Chileno, we had it to ourselves and lots and lots of fish, and they didn’t look like they wanted to eat US!

Chris and Carol had wandered over to these rocks while we were in the water, and the rocks were crawling with crabs. On the drive home, we stopped to check out the developement at Cabo Riviera, and some fellows came out and asked if we wanted a tour, which was incredible. Then when we got home, the water was hot enough to fill the hot tub, we couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our day.

 We had lots of fun.

 We went to San Jose to pick up Chris’ long lost friend that she travelled Europe with back in the 70’s

 She was staying with her friend in this beautiful complex

 Chris drove us to Chileno Beach, where the water was clear and loaded with fish!!!

 We had it to ourselves for awhile, but 3 of these tourist boats came full of snorkellers, so it got really crowded!

 We then went to Zippers restaurant, and had a spot overlooking the Sea. There were several hawkers there, here trying to sell Jo some ironwood carvings.

Jo and I had chili rellenos, and Chris had fish and chips. 

 We went back to pick up Carol, from her friend, Barb’s place

 On the way back, Chris and Carol were catching up. Below: passing the suburbs.

 first thing this morning these burros were right across the street, so Jo fed them some carrot peels

the drive to Pescadero was treacherous, we would have been toast if the brakes failed!

 This was the best experience we had for seeing fish, but it was very rocky, and Jo took a rather risky path getting back out. It doesn’t look too bad from above water, but from underneath, the rocks are almost to the surface!                                          The photo below are Sea Urchins
